Back to the Real Job today again. A day full of half-hour calls which drive me mad because there is barely any time to do anything in between, like grab a drink or knit a sock….

I started knitting stripey socks with the walnut-dyed yarn, but I had the mad idea of knitting spiral socks with 5 balls of yarn at once. Totally not complicated if you concentrate on not crossing your balls of yarn over and getting in a tangle but not the quickest of knits and I am a speed knitter usually so I can soon tell these are going to drive me mad.

The magnolia dye is showing signs that it might not be the palest beige after all. There is even a possibility of khaki green so it’s earnt itself another day in the slow cooker. I have cherry bast lined up to dye though so probably only one more day.
