Crafting yesterday was predictably chaotic with the middle small neighbour child. We are making an extremely large floor cushion (which will hopefully use up the equally large bag of stuff I bought to fill it with) and so there is a lot of straight-seam sewing which can lead to boredom, impatience and a need for chocolate.
I managed to finish knitting my second pair of socks for the week, dark blue with flashes of pink. I’m not overly keen on how the dye pooled but for socks, it really doesn’t matter.
The onions have been harvested this week. The white ones which don’t last long were all chopped up by the Gardener to go in the freezer. This year we have also frozen the red ones in chunks ready for roasting.
I’m not sure the Gardener’s hands will ever smell of anything other than onion again!
